What we do, day to day
Sandys Row Synagogue is a traditional orthodox synagogue offering the following services during the course of the year. We would like to emphasise that everybody is welcome.

At present we offer fortnightly Shabbat services. Everyone is welcome to attend and they are always followed by friendly community kiddush.

This service has been running continuously at Sandys Row Synagogue for over a century. The service starts at around 1.30pm and is attended by up to 80 city workers (Monday to Thursdays). A short shiur (educational discussion), usually takes place before and after every service. Please check our calendar for these services as the start time do vary depending on the season.

We offer a full roster of services during the high holy days and proudly host guest chazzans to lead our congregation. No tickets are required for this event and everyone is welcome.
In recent years our community has celebrated Purim with an evening Megilla reading. This has been hailed a great success and is one event not to be missed. The Megilla reading is followed by a programme of musical and theatrical entertainment put on my by our members and of course - a good old-fashioned East End knees up!
